First Nations Act Now Initiative - Being Active

Provided by First Nations Health Authority

Making exercise more convenient through FNHA programs, resources and organizations.
The Being Active program initiates, coordinates and monitors projects and activities relating to helping First Nations improve their health through regular physical activity. There are specific efforts to focus on population health promotion and the primary and secondary prevention of type 2 diabetes by increasing levels of physical activity in the target populations.
