Provides support and drop-in programming for families with children at risk of developmental delay.
IDP is a free, voluntary home visiting program providing support for families with children aged birth to three experiencing or at risk for developmental delay. Staff provide parents with activity ideas, developmental assessments and referrals to other services. Home visits are planned according to family needs.
IDP also provides group experiences through onsite parent drop-in programs such as infant massage, playgroup and social communication groups.
Referrals are accepted from parents and professionals by fax, mail and telephone. If English is a second language, translation services are available.
